UK Forum – April 23, 2008
Did you know that there were 85,250 visitors from the United Kingdom to Lee County in 2006, representing 4.1% of total visitors to our area? And, that these international travelers, when visiting Florida, have an average spend of $125 per person, per day, and typically stay 9 – 14 nights? The VCB’s UK Forum on April 23, 2008 offered industry partners an understanding of the benefit of international visitors to their business, relayed UK visitor profile data, and offered methods to which partners could work with companies that can help book this type of valuable business.
